Hon. Speaker of Lok Sabha invites Youth of India Foundation to the Parliament of India during the launch of Youth of India MUN 2023 and urges to work on HEE – Health, Education & Environment

During his recent trip to Darjeeling, Hon. Speaker of Lok Sabha attended the event organised by Youth of India Foundation, special accreditation by United Nations organised in Taj Chia Kutir, Kurseong. The event was the first-ever event organised in Kurseong along with G20 India’s Presidency official engagement group of youth (Y20) and civil societies (C20). “Youth of India Foundation is stepping up to play a significant role in addressing the issues contributing to the agenda of 2047 – vision set by Hon. Prime Minister of India in this Amrit Kaal” said Ravi Gupta, Co-Founder, Youth of India Foundation.

 

The event saw the participation of across 100+ people who travelled from across North-Eastern region to felicitate Hon. Speaker of Lok Sabha for his leadership in taking the Parliament of India to the lowest levels of democracy. Hon. Speaker during the launch of North-Eastern Region’s biggest Model United Nations, said “In recent years, India has been witnessing an increasing number of young people who are taking up various initiatives towards sustainable development from the grassroots, ranging from promoting eco-friendly practices to advocating for renewable energy sources.”

 

Hon. Speaker of Lok Sabha while discussing about various social issues for the North-Eastern region, stressed upon the leadership being provided under the leadership of Hon. Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji and urged young people to come up with solutions for the region where he would proactively support and connect with concerned authorities.

Further, the event was followed by the panel discussion on Youth For LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) with Anjali Birla, Civil Servant; Utsob Pradhan, Founder, Tieedi Forest, Rishabh Shah, Founder of IIMUN and was moderated by Sailesh Singhal, Founder, Youth of India Foundation. The panel discussion with Y20 and C20 brought forward various environmental concerns and solutions that can be collectively led by communities.

Hon. Speaker set the doable actions for everyone at Youth of India Foundation and invited every young Indian from North-Eastern region to the Sansad Bhawan.
